This is a practical assessment suitable for members who wish to advance beyond their Basic Assessment

This is a relatively new assessment to help beekeepers who have already passed their Basic Assessment acquire some of the skills needed at the General Husbandry level.  It may appeal to those who do not wish to proceed to take the General Husbandry Certificate, or as a step between the Basic Assessment and General Husbandry.  It requires candidates to demonstrate a range of beekeeping skills and the assessment will usually take place at an association apiary.

Eligibility

You must hold the Basic Assessment Certificate and have at least three years of beekeeping experience.
