Who we are – Pwy ydyn ni
The WBKA team of volunteer trustees and officers provide services and support to WBKA members across a range of areas and through co-operation with a range of stakeholders, including other national associations and bodies such as CONBA (the Council of National Beekeeping Associations), BHAF (the Bee Health Advisory Forum), and the Welsh Government Pollinators Taskforce.
We are committed to supporting the development and training of beekeepers, whether through the system of formal examinations and assessments which exist in the UK, or through less formal events, for example our webinars, which are free and open to all.
Our Events Committee arrange our annual convention held each March at the Royal Welsh Showground near Builth Wells and also arrange the WBKA stands at other Royal Welsh Agricultural Society events held there.
